Ha! I was listening to last weeks marathon Sunday Sesson on the mp3 player while brewing a brown ale inspired by Tumbler today. Just about the time I got to pitchng the yeast, Tumber was mentioned as a nominee for beer of the year. Life is a hoot somtimes. I hope mine tastes as good as the real deal.

If it's tuesday, it must be brewing day! Decided to do two batches o' dark today: JZ's oatmeal stout and my own american brown ale, since I've got 10 gallons of IPA in secondary. Yum.

I know it's not winter out here in California, but I'm brewing a Winter Spice Ale, OG 1.070, SRM 22

I transferred my CYBI Bam Biere to secondary last night, added the 8 grams of wood chips and three vials of "bugs". That's as close to brewing I'm going to get till it warms up around here.

Bottling my oatmeal stout today (thanks, JZ, for a delicious recipe!) and starting up a wee heavy. This sucker should start around 1.110 or so. Woof.
