Just doughed in a brown ale. I may end up adding some of my overly sour lambic to it at some point to make a sour brown ale.

It is killer man! If you bottle, put two drops of coconut extract in each bottle. Do that with 10 of them. I had a ton of success with just that during the last years competition cycle.

Is this reference to the "Most Sour Beer Ever Brewed"?

Mashing a Chocolate Coffee Porter, inspired from Bug's Kahlua Porter (both recipes in link).

I appreciate the suggestion! This batch will be bottled with hopes there will be a few left over to compete against you next summer in the MI Beer Cup. I will have to try the coconut extract. Do you get any flavor from doing this or mostly aroma?

Oh hey Blueberry! I remember you from BeerAdvocate!

It gives both. Judges say that it gives a toasted coconut note when in the robust porter. Are you going to attend the Michigan Homebrew Festival this year? If so we need to have some beers!
