Brewing this weekend? 10/01/10

Fri Oct 01, 2010 6:53 pm

Got off work a little early today so I decided to brew. Was doughed in by a quarter to four. Brewed a nice IPA. OG 1.060 and about 75 IBU. Cascade, New Zealand Hallertauer, and Sorachi Ace hops. They have been in the freezer a bit long so I figured I had better use them up.

In the morning I'll be brewing a sweet potato beer inspired by the Bruery's Autumn Maple, which I've never had but heard about on the Session and want to try. Just finished roasting the 'taters.

Brewing every other week over here.

Didn't brew last week, so I'd better make something this weekend.

Half way through this sack of Marris Otter and have an English Ale starter getting happy to switch out from the Cal Ale IPA I'm sipping at the moment.
