Do you really think anybody is gonna wanna take home all those 22's and 13's, or hunt through piles of bottles in the off chance of finding a rare 36 that just missed the cut?

In my region we have judges that do BJCP training that are more than glad to take all those extra bottles.

Good idea (I teach BJCP classes too), but really? 500 or 600 of them? I couldn't take that many, and there aren't enough classes in our area that could make use of that many.

You're right, 600 is quite a few but 15 class members times 2 beers a week times 10 weeks is pretty good size number. And I could make the case they need to judge even more beers, meads, and ciders than that. I guess most study groups practice on commercial beers and skip meads and ciders.
