extra light dutch DME

My recipe calls for extra light Dutch DME. Wondering if i can change to regular extra light DME, or does the Dutch truly make it unique?

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say it's Dutch Cried Malt Extract. 8)

can't find it at Northern Brewer or More Beer

not surprising because that extract sucked, it was only like 50% fermentable

maybe use 2.5# pounds of a normal DME and .5# of maltodextrin
