hazy IPA...

I have been getting some hazy beers lately. The most recent, Jamil's IPA from brewing classic styles.
Will an IPA have a little more haze to it because of the hop oils?
I have brewed an American wheat that has came out more clear than this IPA.
I hit all the numbers with this brew, (which I was very excited about I might add.) OG 1.068
Made the correct starter, let the beer finish (about two weeks before kegged.) FG 1.013 crash chilled it for a couple of days. I am thinking that I am doing everything right, but its a little hazy.....any thoughts, ideas would be greatly appreciated.

I'm not familiar with the recipe but a plethora of things can attribute to haze.

IPA makes me think hops. Large late hop additions and dry hopping can cause some haze. If I'm not mistaken extremely high sparge temps can produce haze.

Just give it time to cold condition. IPA's are notorious for being hazy due to the large amounts of hops used in the beer. If you used Cal ale yeast then that too could be your culprit. WY 1056/WL 001 are not super high floccers and and remain in suspension for a while before dropping out. Just be patient and meanwhile schwill those IPA's down to enjoy the hoppy goodness.

Just give it some time cold...a couple weeks. Draw a pint off now and then to clear any sedimented yeast and you'll be able to watch it clear. I had an IPA this summer that I nearly gave up on because it wouldn't clear....a few weeks later...beautiful! And...as you know...a clearer beer usually tastes better too. WLP001 has been a tough one to drop out as well...as mentioned above...
