Every year I brew my official house holiday beer, Gnarliday Ale. I figured I'd share the recipe with the BN, it has been a big hit the 3 past years that I've made it. I had planned on brewing today, and not even this stupid pigs disease that I caught could stop me.

(All spices "marinate" in 6oz Capt. Morgan Private Stock for 2wks and added to secondary. Add to taste)

i live a block from a brewery and know the guys there. i just go down there and fill up my nalgene bottle from a fermenter

What yeast is that? Proprietary or something commercially available?

Oh, and I hate you. Yeast starters are my least favorite aspect of brewing.

Just your standard WLP002 British Ale yeast. I can go get that, or WLP001 Cal Ale from them anytime I want :D

I'm assuming you add the whole 6oz capt. morgan + spices and don't strain anything out. (?).

Every used any vanilla extract of vanilla bean?
