Alamo City Cerveza Fest Results

Sat Aug 29, 2009 12:43 pm

Does anyone know when the results will be posted and/or distributed? DId anyone else besides me and Dirk enter this comp?

This is my first one and I'm anxious for feedback.

Thanks

Dammit! You got my hopes up for a minute!

Last year I got my score sheets in three days. I think they mailed them on Monday. I hope they are as organized this year. I'm really pissed I had to work today and missed Rock Candy's talk.

You didn't miss Palmer, Dirk. He had to cancel to protect his home and family from the wildfires.

I'm sure Pollo (Brandon) will keep you posted with the most up-to-date results. I wish I could have gotten mine out in time. Unfortunately it's "non-stop Daddy" season (school, church, soccer, baseball, daycare). I like to stay busy, but this is ridiculous.

I didn't place, either. Thought I had a chance with my saison. Oh, well, more for me to drink.

I got my scores today, and a nice t-shirt.

My saison scored 36 and 39, to average out at 37.5. My Tropical Green Tea Abbey Wiezen got a 26, and my Paxton-DeStruise Old Archaic got a 27.5 (the judges thought it should have been entered as a Wee Heavy). My Saison may have a chance after all.
