MY BEER MACHINE

Check out the link the see My Sculpture. It was a slow process to up together but worth the wait. I did all of the work other than welding the stainless. Still a few little changes in the works but only minor. So much ease in my brew days now. Valves and switch are a lot easier than pots and burners.

Nice - for me, the art of builidng your system is just as much fun as brewing. How long does it take to nring the 170F mash-out wort to boil with the 4500W element? Also, how long to bring tap water to the mash in temperature? Thanks!

It will bring the mash out to boil in 15 to 20 min. If I turn on the element when I am close to the end of sparge out it is even less time. The HLT has two elements the 15 gallons of water will go from 77 to 150 in about 20 min.
