Transit to GABF from Denver airport

I will be flying into Denver for the GABF and wanted to get some advice from anyones in the Denver area. My question is if there is transit service from the airport to downtown area? Or, do I need to get a cab? Also, how long does it take to get to conference ctr from airport, either way?

Your best bet is RTD if you're not coming in late at night. The trip only requires one bus change, takes ~1.5 hours, and will only cost you $6 for a day pass. If you decide to cab it you'll definitely cut the time down to ~30m, but it's going to cost you quite a bit more ($35-$50). If you're staying at a downtown hotel call them and see if they have a free shuttle.

Have fun here in Denver, and if you find yourself in need of a pint head to the Falling Rock Tap House (by Coors Field) for the best taps in Denver! Nowhere that has a permanent tap of Pliny can be bad, right?

RTD skyRide has a direct bus from the airport to Market St Station, which is ~2/3 mile from the convention center. It's $12 one way. Checkout route AF at http://www3.rtd-denver.com/schedules/ge ... outeType=9.

At the Market Street Station you can catch the free shuttle bus that runs up and down the 16th Street Mall. This will get you within a block or so of most of the hotels. It is also the best way to get from the great bars (especially the Falling Rock Tap House) in LoDo (where the Market Street Station is located) back to the hotels when you are too drunk to walk.

Im arriving in town at about 12:30 on the 23rd (wednesday). I will be getting a car, and I would be happy to offer a ride to any other BN army member who needs one. Im actually staying in Boulder Wed. Night, but can drop you off in Denver. Let me know if you are arriveing anywhere near that time.
