The annual NJ State Fair/Farm and Horse show Homebrew Competition is coming up on Sat 8/1/09 at the Sussex Fairgrounds on Rt 206. It's too late to enter, but the final round is judged that day starting 2PM, and the leftover beer is poured as samples for everyone. Apparently there is going to be a homebrewing booth for the first time this year as well. I'll be there with some BN colors on; would be nice to meet some other north jersey soldiers.
