Well, when I dispense, I can hear it replenish, but even when I'm not dispensing, if I have the valve half way, I can hear the CO2 flow. Open the valve more, and the sound goes away.

sounds like the gas is only flowing where it should and not escaping to atmosphere. i wouldn't worry too much as long as you're maintaining the correct pressures and not losing gas. sounds like when the valve is half open the flow is restricted and you hear it equalising across the restriction, but when fully open no restriction equilibrium very quick with no resistance to cause noise. any other opinions out there/
