Entering competition, need help

Guys, I have an espresso porter that I just made that I'm pretty proud of. Should I enter this as a Robust Porter or as a specialty beer? I think of Smuttynose Robustr Porter which has a distinct coffee and chocolate flavor...

Thanks

Category 23 - Specialty Beers. List Robust Porter as the base beer and espresso as the special ingredient.
Good Luck!

Enter it in both. As for the Robust Porter portion, do not say anything about the coffee, for the speciality state that you added the coffee. My robust porter recipe has some of the Franco-belg Coffee Kiln malt and the recipe kicks ass! I agree, Coffee works great with Robust Porters. Just won a best in show with the Robust porter yesterday!

Good Luck! :bnarmy:

Thanks for the input. I think it will judge well but I'm worried that one of the judges might take exception to the espresso in the Robust Porter category and dock it points.
