Alright so I'm about one week into the brew...I did a sample...the gravity has already dropped down to 1.024 (it started at 1.074)....The airlock isn't bubbling much anymore...and even though the beer is 100% better than my first batch it still has fruity/tangy aftertaste (which is no good).....this happened on my first batch as well...I thought it was because of the heat but the temp has been around the 60's the whole time...

Why does it taste tangy?

Is it possible that my plastic carboy is allowing air inside (because I'm using a cheap bucket from homedepot) and making the yeast oxidize?
