That has me thinking. We could open up a firm that sells beverage container offset credits. Wine drinkers can pay in a little for each glass of wine consumed as they are not charged a recycling fee for wine bottles. Beer drinkers often pay 30 cents (or more Hawaii it's 42 cents charged and only 30 can be redeemed) per 6 pack of bottled beer that has similar alcohol content. This will allow them to offset their guilt of tossing that wine bottle in the trash and avoiding the need to queue at the neighborhood recycling center. All proceeds benefit the BN. J can even get a corporate jet and give letures around the world to promote beverage container awareness. The fee can be set to equal your area's recycling fee for a 6 pack of beer for each wine bottle. If successful we could expand it to include all hard liquor bottles as they are also without a recycling fee.
