Lips of Faith

Two quick questions. 1. Which Lips of Faith? 2. How did you get New Belgium out in Jersey?

My answers:
1. Didn't know that there were different Lips of Faiths - this one was a kriek. I'd drink it alot if I could get my hands on it more.

2. My cousin who lives in Boulder hand delivered it to me, along with some Russian River, which just became available to him. I like when he visits.

Yeah, they use the Lips of Faith moniker for all of their specialty beers. Dark Kriek, La Folie, Biere de Mars, Kevin's Ale, and so on all go under LoF. Your cousin is a good man to bring you out some beer, although it raises two further questions: 1. Why does he live in that jerk-ass town? Boulder can suck it! 2. If he lives in Boulder, why didn't he bring you Avery beers? Avery is the best brewery in Colorado, and he freakin' lives in the same town!

It's like an inquisition here:
1. He actually lives up Sugarloaf, outside jerk-ass Boulder, but owns a bar in town (the Sundown).
2. He also brought a Mephistopheles and a Beast (which I will be drinking during the Session tomorrow night). He usually keeps a keg of Avery on tap at his home, ever since we had a 3 hour personalized tour and tasting at Avery a year or two back (tasted the Beast straight from the fermenter, etc.). And now that Avery's "full" catalog is available in NJ, I always buy a few to stock my conditioning fridge. So untwist your panties (or should I say tightie whities and Meet t-shirt). If you like Avery so much, what are you doing in manure-smelling, bike-to-work Fort Collins?
