Williams Brewing Maris Otter Extract

I'm wondering if anyone has used this extract and how they feel about it. I usually go with dry malt extract or order it through morebeer but I really want to use maris otter for the base of my next brew and don't have time for an all grain batch. Any feedback will appreciated.

Take this with a grain of salt as I've only brewed a half dozen batches. I normally just use the "extract" my LHBS sells, but for one of the batches I went with the Williams MO extract. The beer was a loose clone of DHF's 60 minute.

It's the best beer I've brewed and I can really tell the difference in flavor the MO extract added.

I'll definitely be using it in the future.

Towards the end of my extract days, I started using John Bull Maris Otter extract over the Mountmellicks that I had used for years (the plain Light, Amber, and Dark... not the pre-hopped beer-specific ones). MO was definitely better.

Can't comment on the Marris Otter extract per se. But I'm a big fan of the William's extracts that I have tried (American pale, German pils, German weizen).

Word. It used to be the only LME I used, but now I'm experimenting with their Munich LMEs.
