I'm a Menlo Park guy who loves to brew! I usually listen to the podcast when I mow my lawn and do the other yardwork. Yes, I am the only guy from SF to San Jose who actually does his own yardwork. I love the show - keep up the great work!

Welcome to the forum.

Nobody out there does their own yard work?

Without question, the greatest invention in the history of mankind is beer. Oh, I grant you that the wheel was also a fine invention, but the wheel does not go nearly as well with pizza.

We love to hear things like that! Shouldn't you be brewing instead?

Just kidding! Welcome aboard!

I am planning to come to the anniversary show, which should be one hell of a party. It's an easy Caltrain ride up from Menlo Park.

The yardwork thing is pretty funny. Most people here have a gardener come out once a week or so, due to the astounding amount of cash floating around silicon valley. I'm just too cheap. Plus, when I brew, I need to have something to do while I'm mashing! I can mow the entire yard during the mash, and then do everything else during the boil. Full on multitasking!
