If you haven't used Amarillo before, I'd suggest trying a beer with only that one hop type. That will give you a better idea of its flavors, aroma and bittering. After that you'll have a better idea of how it might blend. It is useful to try this technique with any new ingredient.

Yeah, I decided to do this. I'll make a pale ale with all Amarillo and one with all Cascade, and then compare. Yummy, can't wait :) Oh, and I'll do both of them with all the bittering/flavour at ten minutes. Just have to finish off my Best Bitter experiment first 8)
