My stainless steel kettle had some scorch marks that needed a fair amount of BKF and elbow grease to remove. It was certainly nice and shiny by the time I was done with it. That was about 3 days ago.
How long should I wait before considering the kettle safe to use? Is SS passivation tougher than I think and I really didn't scrub it all off like I would have if it had been Alumium?
