Mmmmmm. I wonder how that would go in a hazelnut chocolate porter. Just might have to try that some time. Kinda like a Reeses Peanut Butter Cup you can drink.

Aye. I had no idea how much to use, so I started low (or what I think will be low) at 3oz and if I can't taste the peanut butter after fermentation, I will try adding some to the fermenter.

I didn't brew but I did make it out to cheer ChrisKennedy on. I did however get to taste the Chocolate Peanut Butter Stout wort, pretty damn tasty, can't wait until it's done.

Me and my club the bay de noc brewers brewed up 10 gallons on Saturday and grilled out in one of the local parks.

Despite the fact that we had a high of 45F and a 20mph wind whipping off the lake we still managed to pull in 18 people for the brewday. All in all it was a great experience.

Well, a bit of a worrying development with the chocolate peanut butter stout. It is fermenting away, bubbling rapidly, but there is absolutely no krausen. It is rather amazing, really, since you can actually see the wort bubbling from all the CO2 coming out of solution. Needless to say, I am not at all confident that there will be any head retention at all.

Ah, no worries, Chris. When you serve it - just give it a quick squirt of whipped cream and put a cherry on top. Nobody will notice.
