Hey thats me in the pic! Hey ZZ nice working with you at the WBC and at Karl Strauss. It was cool to hang out with the BN guys and do a mini Dark Meat session!

Cheers

Hamilton's was nice. I also hit Karl Strausse Tusday night. Sure liked the Oatmeal Stout.

My absolute favorite sight all week though was the PBR Light on the table right before the Award Dinner! Kind of like a visual speed bump.

I was there stewarding the world beer cup on Tuesday & Wednesday. What a smörgåsbord of amazing beer! Listening to the brewing industry rockstars' (Vinnie, Matt Brynaldson, Dave Logsdon, Lauren Salazar, etc) perceptions during the judging was really cool.

Friday night I was serving beer at the Karl Strauss Craft Brewers Convergence. I had the opportunity to serve up a couple gallons of my Double IPA which went over incredibly well. Justin, JP, Chris Graham, Lisa White, John Palmer and a bunch of other people got to try it!

Overall, I had a blast!!

There are no Double IPAs in SD. Only San Diego Pale Ales

Sounds like the whole stewarting thing was a lot of fun. I will defnitely have to try that next time.

Where is this shit listed? I only found out about it being down here like a month, maybe 6 weeks before hand. And didn't hear about stewarting until it was too late.

The World Beer Cup is only held every two years in conjunction with the Craft Brewers Conference. As time draws near they begin to solicit volunteers. Local homebrew clubs usually represent a large contingent.
