Tue Apr 22, 2008 8:12 pm

This event is a great time. My friends and our wives are planning the trip this year. We visited last year an was amazed at the turn out. Not only by the people but the breweries too. For information, go to this link, http://www.frankenmuthfestivals.com/?page_id=2
A list of breweries and tickets are there. May 16 and 17, 2008. I am sure you all will enjoy, and the best part is the family style chicken the next day :aaron

I'll be there for sure! I went last year and had a blast. Sampled some great brew and then headed down to the Black Forest for more brew and excellent pizza.

5 days away, I can hardly wait. I compare this feeling to waiting for Christmas when I was a kid. It is going to be great.

I've got one heck of a group going this year. 11 people (mostly couples) and my wife hates beer! Now we have a designated driver! Excellent! It's always hard finding a volunteer.

I went to the Frankenmuth expo Friday. What a great time. I went with my fiance and a friend of ours. Our friend managed to get hit on by a few creepy dudes. It was a great festival and a lot of fun. We hit up Black Forest before the expo opened and then drank until they kicked us out.

The Expo was great and we had a wonderful time. Unfortunately there was a 2 hour wait to get seated at the Black Forest so we went on home and ordered some pizza from the joint up the road and had a nice bonfire in the back. The only problem with the Expo is that there are way to many beers and you can't nearly come close to trying as many as one would like. One of the beers I seem to remember liking quite well was Flying Dog Gonzo.
