Is the same event that used to be hosted behind Papago?? If so, I haven't been in a few years. I'm down. I don't have any bottles to trade right now. Maybe we should meet before for a little priming, a la tailgate w/homebrew? I can stick a growler or two in a cooler.

Right, I got where it is now - but I don't recall hearing about this "Strong Beer Festival" 3 yrs ago - right about the time I stopped hearing about a similar festival behind Papagos.

Anyway, do you want to Meet up for some sampling before we go in?

I am pondering that VIP ticket too, but I figured if I said 3pm then people who didn't get the VIP wouldn't be in a rush to join us. 4pm well by then taste buds and minds may be blasted. Last year they had the Collaberation not Litigation Ale tasting at 4pm and while I tried it I couldn't tell you anything about it because my taste buds were so fried by then.

I want to go to this instead of the AZ Beer fest in March. They raise the prices on that thing every year, and now even designated drivers have to pay $30!!

The DD price at the strong beer fest is only $5.
