I don't know if any of you have tried that La Folie before, but the first time I tried it it just a bit out of balance for me. A bit too bitter and the sourness really overpowered the malt. Well, as Sully would say, now that all has changed. Chris Black went up to New Belgium and actually came up w/ the new blend and it is freak'en Awesome! Now for all of you folks that poopoo New Belgium, give this one a try. I agree that not all of their standards are my favorite this one certainly ranks up there. Give it a try, if you're a sour beer fan you won't be disappointed.

Dang you, Brancid! I just pulled that same Falling Rock schedule off Tech Talk to post here. I guess I'm getting slow in my old age. :)

It's good to hear they redid La Folie. The old one was too over the top sour.

I'm going to be at the Sat afternoon session. Hope to see some BN Army shirts there. I'll say hi if I see ya. I don't have one though  yet.
I won't be in town until late Friday and heading home Sunday morning.

Brewcaster J wrote:Alright BNer's, I'm with the Army and if the Army says Thursday, as it looks like that's the vast majority, then I'm in. The only issue I have is I have at least 2 other events to attend that night after the Thursday session. So.... I'm hoping it can be a late meeting. Now late for me is REALLY late as I am a night owl, but I understand that not all will be the same and I'd like to meet as many folks as possible.

So I propose this:

We have a booth on the festival floor that the entire BN staff will be at by 9pm Thursday night. This would be a great place to meet and say hello... talk beer for a few...then have the final "official" meeting later that night at Falling Rock (I'll get there as early as possible...Shat is responsible for me at this point  ). At least that way anyone who has to bail early will have gotten to meet the Army at the booth early on.

Other than that, I would say the BN booth can be a meeting point at any time during the GABF sessions. I really want to meet you all so I hope this can work out. I'll know more about what time I can be at Falling Rock Thursday on Monday so I'll post any updates I have for you all.

Prost!!
J

Does anyone know the booth number? Will there be a big rainbow pasted on the wall above the booth? Will anyone be wearing pants? Sorry for all the last minute questions!
