Making a Randal

Sat Nov 05, 2011 9:02 pm

Hey guys, I've been planning on making a Randal but I want to make it interchangeable between homebrew and commercial lines. I don't know the beer line size for average commercial kegarators and i was wondering what I'd need to switch between average kegarators and my future kegarator (size to be determined later, use yours or common examples)

Thanks
Steel
Bottled: Dark and Dangerous (smoked black ale)

I would just get threaded QD's, that way you can just switch them without any trouble. Just have the proper size compression fittings so you can get this accomplished.

You can run whatever size beer line in a kegerator, but 3/16ths inside diameter is most common to balance most typical sized kegerators.
