tcmonk, If you have fermenter space why not use it as a primary and at secondary like brewin hardon suggests- the beer won't suck.

I brewed my version of this yesterday. I've had a few sour beers, but never anything from Jolly Pumpkin, so I'm curious how this will turn out.

I kegged my attempt today. Did I clone it? Don't know. I can't get it here. I've never had it. So yes. I cloned it! It's the cloniest clone (as Brewcaster J would say) of it I have ever had.

Dirk-

Any noticeable sourness or was it just more brett enhanced? The last Bam I had was mildly funky/fruity with a nice hoppiness in the aroma and flavor dept. and just a bit of sourness as it washed across the back of my tongue.

There was a mild tartness. It smells barnyard, but the flavor was funky/fruity. I hope I can wait until it's carbonated.

I think this beer was great, it didn't last long! I never picked up any sourness. More of a mild brett bite and great floral in the aroma as the beer aged. Will brew this again, maybe a little more full bodied and left longer on the brett and oak.
