Don't lie, we know you don't have any friends.

I killed a hole bottle of Beatification on my own once. Incredible beer.

Thank god I can buy beer by the bottle. I bought one 11 oz or so and drank it. My wife always makes fun of me because I pour every beer into a Chimay goblet and look at it and then smell it and then sip it and then look at it and then smell it again...

Drinking something that unusual I swear I couldn't frame words I was caught in a perfect moment of enjoyment. :jnj

My wife and I have become huge sour fans. We've had trouble getting our hands on many Russian River sours but the three we've had (supplication, consecration, deification) were all really good (I liked deification slightly less than the other two). The Lindeman's Cuvee Renee doesn't have the balance the russian river sours do but it is puckering sour in a good way, just kinda one dimensional but worth the experience. We've liked all the Jolly Pumpkin we've had with La Roja being our favorite but we have had some gushers as others have noted. New Belgium La Folie was my wife's favorite for awhile but she doesn't like it out of the bottle as much as when we've had it on tap. The Dissident by Deschutes was a great beer. I've found the Duchesse to be a good starter for people who aren't the biggest craft beer drinkers and have never had a sour. We've also had some incredible sours from Cascade Brewing. We've had some consistency issues with Cascade Brewing but it's always been good and sometimes great. Our absolute favorite sour is the Rodenbach Grand Cru. Cantillon as others have noted make great beers and you can't really go wrong with them. The one thing I would encourage is to not dismiss a beer if something is really highly rated and you have a bad initial experience with it. It seems like age really makes a difference with these beers and sometimes you get a gusher or one out of balance. The first Rodenbach we had was off and tasted nothing like the Rodenbach's we've had since then. Just my two cents.

Yeah I noticed that on their list and I noticed at liquid solutions they have RR temptation. I'll be going by John's market early this evening and I might try to see what they have but belmont is out of my reach until monday and liquid solutions (oregon city) is going to take a fishing or hiking trip in that direction but temptation is a sour i'd really like to try.
