Thanks! I am really excited that two of my beers made it. The whole reason I entered was just to get some good feedback on my beer. Winning was just a bonus for me.

I basically owe it all to Jon Plise' {50 G}. After I sent this beer into the show, Jon encouraged me to send it in to the NHC.

I never really thought of entering, but getting the feeback from the judges was a real benefit.

I am just waiting for June....

I'm going to Disney World, too! The Northeast results just made it out, I got a first for my Amarillo APA and a third for a brown porter. I hope I got enough time for a rebrew.

Way to go Darin.

I do not have enough beer to go all the way. I only have one 12oz bottle left for Florida.

I can't wait to see what happens. :P :P :P :P

Anyone heard about when we get scoresheets?

I already re-brewed mine (just in case) but it sure would be nice to know what the judges had to say. Seems like if they are going to allow a re-brew, they would get the score sheets out sooner.

Scoresheets coming from the region that judged your beers. there's no general rule of thumb.

I'll be going up against Jamil with a Rachbier which took a first here in the NW. My BW took a third. Not bad for only being 3 months old.

Does anyone know when we are supposed to recieve instructions for entering the second round. I have two entries going and just don't want to miss the deadline.

I believe the entries are due by June 16. There was something on the AHA Tech Talk that they were still sorting out some names, etc in order to send out the entry packages. You need the package before you can send in your entry. Hang tight. it will come.
