Not too proud to beg for a ride.

Mon Oct 08, 2007 2:10 pm

Being a cheapskate, I'm taking the train out to GABF. As such, I don't have any transportation while there. My hotel is within walking (stumbling) distance of the Falling Rock and the Convention Center, but I would appreciate any offers of rides to brewery tours and such. I somewhat know my way around the area (used to live out there) so I can help with navigation and probably kick in for gas. If no offers, I guess I will just have to suffer by getting drunk in LoDo before the GABF sessions.

Let me know if you want some company during the day.

Being from the West Coast, I'm flying in and won't have a car, either. But I'm not gonna make it much further than Falling Rock or the Convention Center.

Good luck on the brewery tours. And 10 extra points for taking the train.

Well, within a short walk from the Falling Rock are Flying Dog, Wynkoop, Sandlot, and Breckenridge. Not a bad circuit right there. We'll see you there Motor. I'm getting in there sometime early on Thursday morning.

We will see how it goes Bug but right now we have a full car, sorry. We are staying the night in Boulder on Friday and Denver Brewery touring on Saturday. So maybe we can hit the local shops together in Denver on Saturday. If I have room I will let you know though.

I'll be at work all day thurs. and part of fri. so i can't offer much in the way of rides anywhere, but if you find yourself getting tired of doing laps in lodo, maybe hop on the rtd to golden to check out the Coors tour (the tour is far less sucky than their beer) and the Golden City Brewery. The bus will drop you off right infront of coors, and the Golden City Brewery is 5 min. walk from there.
