Fresh Hop Ale Festival

There will be the Fifth Annual Fresh Hop Ale Festival in Yakima, WA on October 6th. It's looking to be a pretty good festival. I plan on attending and I was wondering if anyone from BN was going to be there.

Oh, man, I'd love to go, but I'm assisting in a Wine Making class on that day :/ Is it an all weekend long event, or just Saturday? Yakima is only a 3 hour drive from Portland, and the earliest I could possibly be there would be like dinner time. I went to hopmadness over the Labor Day holiday, and picked 12 lbs of various hops. I made a freshop scottish ale with the Crystal hops I picked, and vacuum sealed the rest for another brewski (maybe a Scottish 80S?) on Monday. I really love what fresh hops do for a beer, given the proper hops, and style. Just racked the Ballantine clone yesterday, and the current gravity is 1.010, with an OG of 1.072. Pretty tasty so far, will oak, and dry hop when it drops and clears to try and emulate the original practices by Ballantine before Pabst slaughtered the first truly American IPA!

Sounds like you can make it to the festival. It starts are 6:00pm that evening and runs until 11:00pm. Its only that one night for that time period. There is a brewer's dinner on Friday but I can't make it to that. I'm driving from Pullman on Saturday to make it to the festival.
