GABF 2007

Thu Jul 12, 2007 1:51 pm

Just curious, how many BNer's are coming to Denver in October.

I think it would be bad ass if we could arrange an informal Brewing Network, beer dinner while everyone is in town. I am sure that we could get one of the local brew pubs like Oskar Blues or Wynkoop to accommodate us. Anyway post your thoughts on that!

Well since I had to cancel out on attending the NHC due to unexpected car repairs, I'll be damned if I'll miss GABF this year. I went last year and had a blast! Note to self: Don't start out with the imperial IPA's. Give yourself a chance to actually taste the other beers before destroying your taste buds.

Turned in my vacation request today. Have already been checking out hotels downtown. Will probably make reservations next week.

Count me in for the dinner.

I don't even need to post that option anymore, this is the BN! No one here wears pants, do ya!?

I am hoping that I can go. It depends if I can find enough change in the couch to get over there. Even if I don't make it I will have a beer over there. I get to brew my oktoberfest that took gold in nationals at Great Basin Brewing Co here in Reno and it will be entered in the pro am category. If I can make it count me in on the dinner.

Looks like I'll be able to make it this year. I'm probably headed in on Wednesday and will be hitting the Great Divide tap room that afternoon.

I've got contacts at Oskar Blues if we want to go that far out of town for the dinner.
