Trip to Monk's & More in Philly Saturday, Sept. 18th

Wed Sep 15, 2010 3:36 am

My homebrew club, The Stoney Creek Homebrewers, is taking our Fall field trip into the city this Saturday, Sept. 18th. We will be starting at Monk's at 3PM and then moving on to Nodding Head and Mahogany on Walnut (cigar lounge) and possibly more.

Any BNers want to hang?

If so, PM me for my cell phone # and you can call to see where we're at at any given time.

I'll be wearing my hop grenade shirt if you just want to come by.
Hope to see some of you there.

Damn finally something in this area too bad I wont be able to go.

While you're in town check out Eulogy and the Belgian Cafe, Eulogy is sick from what I hear and the Belgian Cafe had a great bottle list.

We'll have to see what kind of mood everyone's in. We're all taking SEPTA into town, and definitely want to start at Monk's, so we just picked a couple of places within easy walking distance.

I plan on being around there. but i do love monks and nodding head.

also the belgian cafe isnt far off the broad st line. and eulogy is right off the market line. but then again, there are hundreds of good places...so...i would stick with the initial plan.
Just fine,

Damn it, I'm going to miss another one.

I've got plans with the kids this weekend and can't make it.

I've been wanting to go to Nodding Head for a few weeks and just can't get there.

I wanted to go to Monks last Friday for the 5 Russian River kegs and couldn't make it either.
