Oh yea, and let's hope that Avery brings some Collaboration not Litigation this year.

I've never had any Russian River, so this is as close I'm going to get for a while.

Well, I guess that makes us a bunch of VI-motherfucking-Ps. Now I'm pissed that I didn't order my hoodie in time to represent...

It's okay, we will be representing the BN Army in force so I am sure J will get plenty of free advertising.

Well the BN was in da house and represeting strong. It was great to meet and spend the day with Geist, Koop, and LaFours. We met up in the parking lot and sampled some tasty homebrew. Then we went inside and blasted our tastebuds with all kinds of strong beer. Weather started out overcast and then opened up in the late afternoon just as I noticed that I was drunk as hell... DFH tapped the 120 at 4:00 - but it was drained in 15 minutes while I stood on line. I think Geist might have had some.

Bill Thompke and a few others from the Tucson homebrew club came up - unfortunately a little late to taste our homebrew. We left the festival around 5:00 and headed over to the local brewpub (4 Peaks).

Excellent day, my BN brothas!!! I had a blast (and got blasted). We will do it again very soon. Next saturday is the Brew-Out up at Sonoran. Geist, I know you are busy. Koop and LaFours - let me know if you are considering it. I think there is going to be some live music, and the brewmaster - Scott told me that he would be providing the water and yeast.

yeah, a great time was had by all, this is nice event. Music, great beer and lots of good people. Things are a little hazy after standing in line for the DFH 120. My wife drove me home around 5:15 - the last couple of samples I slammed down were hitting me as we drove. They call it the Strong Beer Festival for a reason, these beers are not to be trifled with and slamming even 4oz samples will catch up with you. By the time I got home I didn't know where I was.

Unfortunately I can't make it to Sonoran. A group brew would be fun, a great way to learn a thing or two.
