MegaSchwiller,

I've seen posters for that around here, but the last I heard Jamil talk about it, he didn't even know what it was going to be on. I'd like to be there though, except I have an exam at 2 and I have to be at the fest at 4:30 to work.

By the way, all my friends from the BN, make sure that when you stop by the Pro-Am booth you say hi. I've put my hands on a BN Hop grenade and will have it pinned to my GABF shirt they gave me to wear.

So, is the plan to meet after the Thurs night session at the Falling Rock?

It's going to crowded as fuck, I think the first Army personnel there should gab a good corner up stairs next to the TVs, up against the wall, up stairs and just camp on it until we all get there to take over the place. Then again, I guess we could all look for the part o the bar where everyone is pantless.

Alright BNer's, I'm with the Army and if the Army says Thursday, as it looks like that's the vast majority, then I'm in. The only issue I have is I have at least 2 other events to attend that night after the Thursday session. So.... I'm hoping it can be a late meeting. Now late for me is REALLY late as I am a night owl, but I understand that not all will be the same and I'd like to meet as many folks as possible.

So I propose this:

We have a booth on the festival floor that the entire BN staff will be at by 9pm Thursday night. This would be a great place to meet and say hello... talk beer for a few...then have the final "official" meeting later that night at Falling Rock (I'll get there as early as possible...Shat is responsible for me at this point  ). At least that way anyone who has to bail early will have gotten to meet the Army at the booth early on.

Other than that, I would say the BN booth can be a meeting point at any time during the GABF sessions. I really want to meet you all so I hope this can work out. I'll know more about what time I can be at Falling Rock Thursday on Monday so I'll post any updates I have for you all.

Prost!!

I didn't even know there was a upstairs at Falling Rock, good to know.

9PM at the Booth, I can do that. When does the festival end on Thursday night?

Bars close when in Denver, I forgot? Is it 3AM?

I don't think there is (is there!?!?). There's definitely a downstairs though.

Last pour is at 9:45 and it ends at 10:00. It's a 15-20 min walk from the convention center to falling rock. I'd highly recommend taking one of those rickshaw looking bike cabs for $10 or so (way more fun than walking).

Bars in Denver close at 2am.

I have to be at the WBF and will be speaking from about 8:00 until 9:30 or so. I certainly hope at least a few folks will show up!

After that, I'm open to Falling Rock.
I hope my post helped in some way. If not, please feel free to contact me.

I hadn't even heard about this one ... I'd sure like to hit this one. I'd be willing to try Friday for the meetup though I know Avery is having a big function at Falling Rock then.

I just RSVP'ed for the KROC forum (so Jamil you'll have at least one attendee). I figure I'll stop by the BN booth earlier in the evening and check in there, hit the forum and them head to Falling Rock. Work, work, work ...

This is true, it's really the main floor...but it is upstairs from the basement.

falling rock pre-meet

Fri Oct 05, 2007 9:16 am

I'm going to head over to Falling Rock at 5:00 to get the evening started proper, before heading over to the WBF @ 7:30, and then back to Falling Rock later that evening around 9:30.

If anyone wants to meet up at falling rock earlier for a priming session...
