Without question, the greatest invention in the history of mankind is beer. Oh, I grant you that the wheel was also a fine invention, but the wheel does not go nearly as well with pizza.

I got my room at a travelodge for $90 a night. It's not anything special, but looked alright. It also seems to be under a .5 mile walk to the fest.

I've never been to the OBF at night. I am almost always out of there by 3pm each day, but also there at opening every day. Lines get too long at night.

For those looking to loose their Watermelon Wheat virginity, make sure to get to the festival early. The line is usually the longest, and the kegs die out by Sunday.

John Foster and I are going to try to get a "Surviving a Beer Festival" episode out on beerschool.com prior to the OBF.

See you all there. Just listen for the Watermelon Wheat song.

Trevelodge is more like a mile or 1.5 (if you are talking about the one on NE Weidler.) You have to walk across the bridge to get there, but you should just be able to take the max.
