Basically the product would have to be registered with the Feds, then the state of Michigan. The product is then sold to a Michigan distributor, then to the AHA/BA and served to you all at the conference. Then the producer reimburses the AHA/BA for the cost.
This is not the quickest of processes. Last year we piled anything into the truck and drove it down to Philadelphia. We brought whatever we wanted. Not going to be the same this year.
If you want to try the sour meads come by and see me. You know where I am.

Ah man, that's a bummer. You guys planning to produce some sour meads? I make it to the tasting room a couple times a year when I'm visiting family in Londonderry.

OK guys a little update. Looks like Michael Fairbrother will be pouring some sour homebrewed batches at his talks. We have been hard at work figuring out a way to get you guys some yummies, so this is what we have come up with to avoid the legal run around. These are not going to be products that one can get commercially, like the braggot from the BNA8. Hope you all enjoy.

into the night you'll want something to drink.

Do File -> Download. If you are printing the spreadsheet, make sure to fit it to a page.

Let me know if I messed anything up or you think I should add anything. Say hey at NHC if you are there.

Very cool neckbeardbeer!

Thanks for consolidating the schedule so I can actually read it!
Maybe the AHA needs a heads-up. The printed version is great, just a little late for planning ahead.

I will be presenting on going from homebrewing to 15bbl production brewing. I will focus on recipe scale up, equipment, yeast handling, and whirlpool hopping. I will be serving two versions of our Professor IPA, one a keg pulled off of the fermenter that is just whirlpool hopped, and the same beer dry hopped. I hope to see a lot of hop grenades in the seats!

I'm just imagining Mills talking to a bunch of empty seats with t-shirts draped over the back rests.
