A new member of our club, who used to live there and go each year, told us about it and rangled an invite for our club members. But since it's same weekend as Big Brew and we are trying to grow our club I doubt I'll make it this time. That said I have heard it is a truely great event if you can make it's worth the effort.

I'll be at the Brewcommune tent most of the day. Stop by and say hello. We'll have a toast to the BN.

How does the fest work??? Does everyone just set up their bar at their camp site and everyone walks around site to site or is there an area where everyone is pouring?

On Saturday, all the brew clubs have tents or booths setup in a particular area where they are pouring their beers. There is a stage for the bands and a couple of food vendors. Last year, Beer, Beer, and More Beer, Firetsone, and one other brewery had booths too. On Friday and Saturday nights, everyone just wanders the campground and we break out the good stuff. It's one big party. Last year, they had a booth for brewers that were not part of a club where they could serve their beers too. Not sure if they are doing that this year. They should have more info up on the web site soon.

Don't forget the party starts now on Friday Night! There's a bourbon tasting. Clubs can have their booths open (the Falcons will be open, oh yes) and there's a band playing, etc.

So Friday should be a good time on the field as well. (Checkin is supposed to happen as well)
