NHC First Round Results. When?

Thu Apr 27, 2006 7:47 am

Does anyone have any idea when they let us know how our beers did in the first round of the NHC?

I know that judging goes through 4/30/06, but are the results posted or emailed?

I am dying to find out!

Last year the result trickled in (West was one of the last reported) starting monday or tuesday after the close of judging. Starting Monday just start checking www.beertown.org

Brad,

Great. I appreciate the knowledge. I was "freakin' out"!

What beers did you enter?

I entered 5 beers in 8 catagories
Flanders Red
Straight Lambic
Fruit Beer
Christmas Spice Beer
Beligan Strong Dark
Pale Ale
Saison
Belgian other (Saison with Brett)

The only thing that has a chance is the Saison/Saison w/ Brett

I have never really thought about brewing for competition until I did that Tripple recipe spiked with "brett".

So that is the only beer I entered. I don't think I really have any chance, but I am looking forward to the feedback from the judges.

I hope that you do well Brad. Please let me know.

Carlo

p.s. Keep up the creative "Brett" beers. I think it is a great direction. :D :!:

I entered it in 16E.

It was the only one that fit. Or that I could make fit.
