wild idea

No Apologies but this is a wild idea…. And yes I’m new to brewing!

While what the Brewing network is doing is great and the podcasts reach more and more of us, getting together and sharing some brew needs to… to…. Phuck … just happen.

Thirsty’s Secret Santa event sort of had this idea incubating in me over the weekend. Plus whether you donated or not, most of us have read the following, “Donations help The Brewing Network keep bringing the shows and information you love….” I have yet to donate or buy the book.

What if:

Local Brew Clubs could bid[DONATE FOR] on a set number of OFFICAL TBN Grenades – Shit did I say grenades.. [DONATE FOR] Bid on a set number of OFFICAL TBN Beer Tastings. Highest Donation-Bid wins that time/date slot.

Each tasting would have set styles and include famous brews/recipes shipped in for the occasion and… a number of TBN ‘personalities’ and TBN listeners from surrounding areas adding the ranks of a local club to talk shop, slur their speech and ectera…..

This could be huge.. Enormous… JP could bring the Motor home as the TBN Traveling Beer Fest came to your backyard!!!!

Ok OK Ok..

I’ll just plan on going to an AHA Rally….

Good point...

But it will be awhile before I meet any of you and I'm still stoked about the S.Santa that Thirsty set UP. I had to put that one out there....

I've been known to latch onto ideas from others like this one and like I said there is always my first AHA/beer comp /beer fest that still needs to happen.....

Drink a well.. Uh... Drink well,
Ike

I have to side with BRB... I have no club affilliation other than TBN. Good thinking though! Of course if you want to hang with the Brewcasters, you could always book a trip to the annual anniversary show!

Oh, and I feel I should say, Bub deserves the props for Secret Santa since he is the one that set it up originally... all I did was step in and organize emails. :D
