They need some help!!

Ok guys & gals,

Check this out. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, only respond if this is something you'll be able to do.

I was a bit disappointed that my club didn't step up as well as they should have at the last meeting when Janis told us all, but I feel you guys are just as much my club as they are, so the first thing that I thought was that my buddies at thew BN would not even have let this happen. Here's an e-mail the club got last night. :

2007 GABF ProAM Booth Volunteers NEEDED!

The American Homebrewers Association (AHA) is looking for homebrewers who can answer questions about homebrewing and beer styles at the GABF ProAm Booth. We need 4 volunteers for each session: Thursday night (10/11) 4:45 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.; Saturday afternoon (10/13) 11:45 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; Saturday night (10/13) 4:45 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Volunteers receive one ticket to the GABF for each ProAm Booth session worked. Volunteers will also get an hour break during their session shift.

AHA representative volunteers will not have to pour the beer, but they need to be able to talk to festival goers about AHA Membership Benefits, homebrewing, the beer styles at the ProAm booth, and how the AHA fits into the GABF ProAm Competition. (Information about beer styles and the GABF ProAm Competition will be sent to volunteers prior to the festival.)

Volunteers should e-mail Janis Gross (janis@brewersassociation.org) with their name, e-mail address, cell phone number, and they should specify the session they are volunteering to work and the session for which they want the complimentary GABF ticket.

Cheers,
Janis Gross

Once again, let's all be nice to Janis and not book a bunch of folks that want to get here but can't make it, but above all, don't forget to tell her that the BN sent ya.

Cheers,
Brandon
