Homebrewer's Appreciation Event at a Buddy's new bar in SD.

Fri Oct 25, 2013 9:45 am

I'm heading to San Diego the weekend of November 8-10 to celebrate a good buddy's (actually 2 buddies) acquisition of their first bar, Downtown Johnny Browns.

I would have posted this in the "travel" section, but thought I'd also give notice of the IPA and Homebrewer recognition events they have going on that weekend. I don't know all the details, but on Friday November 8th, they are having an IPA Day ... go figure for southern California. The real deal is going on Saturday night when they are hosting a homebrewer recognition event where they are honoring QUAF members gone pro. The real zinger is that Heretic Brewing will be there along with Jamil!

I'd love to get a chance to meet more of the San Diego BN'ers while I'm there! Give me a PM to exchange numbers and hopefully meet up or maybe I'll see you at Downtown Johnny Browns.

Cheers,
Eagle Dude

Sounds like a great event. I only wish I wasn't in the almost-furthest distance away in the US so I could attend. ( I say almost because Maine has me beat ).

Yeah at that distance, you might want to start driving right after your Halloween festivities. I'm sure you could find a brewery or two to visit between NH and CA.
