Hey fellas,
We just finished judging the Michigan Beer Cup and things went pretty well! We had 750 entries making us the biggest single state competition that has ever been registered by the BJCP, thanks for entering.
The 1st Annual Michigan Homebrew Festival is August 21st in Holly, and it is going to be awesome. Lots of homebrew (I will be pouring 5 kegs at the BN booth), pro beers, pig roast, raffles, and awards ceremony for the MBC. It should be a great time.
As far as the BN booth goes, J will be sending me the banner, so I am pretty pumped about that. If you have beers you want to pour at the booth that would be awesome. I am equipped to pour my beer only, so you will need your own set up as far as gas and lines go.
Each club gets some free wrist bands for the right to drink for free, they are normally $10 so it is a nice savings. Let me know if you want to come. They need a list of people at the gate to give the free BN ones to. So get back to me with an official yes or no, and I will reserve on for you. There is a limited number so it will be first come first serve.
Also, make sure to wear your BN gear!
