WHOOO-HOOOO!!! 1rst place in category 15a for my weizen. This is my 3rd competition. I've not seen my scoresheets yet, but I'll post the results when I get them.

After listening to the Pope show on hefes I dropped the ferm temp of my weizens down to 62 degrees like our hero does, and well, what do ya know. Thank again Jamil.
Here's the recipe:
5 lbs wheat malt
5 lbs. Pilsen malt
153 degree single infusion mash, batch sparged
1/2 oz hallertau (60 min)
WLP300 hefewezein 30 hour 1000ml starter on stir plate
