Erdinger Weissbier Dunkel

Thu Jun 30, 2005 2:27 pm

500 ml. big ’ole brown German bottle. Freshness date is of 08-2004. At the end of it’s useful life then. I will make sure I bring that to the attention of the store where I bought it. Poured out a deep chocolate brown color, with a fast fading tan colored head. Aromas are almost non-existant, since this sample is so old. Slight yeastiness is all I can pick out. Tastes are rather blah. Not much in the way of malts, hops, or yeast characteristics. Sorry, this sample was a drain pour. Maybe I’ll rerate it when I can find a MUCH fresher sample.
