Castle Eggenberg MacQueens Nessie

11.2 oz. brown bottle. No freshness date seen anywhere. Poured out a straw yellow color, with a fast fading, thin white head. left a little bit of lacing down the sides of my snifter. Aromas are of wet earth, smokey campfires, yeasty bread, sweet esters, and some slight fruitiness. Tastes are of a thin nature, mostly some smokey malt, slight sweetness from the residual sugars. Mouthfeel is very thin, almost watery. Finishes sweet, almost cloying. Hops are not prevalent in any manner. Too sweet for me, but at least I got to try it once.
