Bells Expedition Stout

12 oz. brown, longneck bottle. No freshness date seen anywhere. Hey, KBC, how about a freshness date? What? Would it kill you to do it? I’ll digress. Poured out a deep chocolate brown color, with a tan colored head. Aromas are of roasted malts, stale coffee, and alcohols. Some wine soaked prune aromas as well. Flavors of over-roasted coffee beans, along with some charcoal notes. Medium body, coats the tongue well. Slight bitterness from the hops, but still unbalanced, IMHO.
