Recently got this stuff and I think it's awesome! Hops everywhere and is an all round great beer. NBB did a great job here like all their stuff!

Surprised the crap out of me when I saw this on the shelf. I understand it's a brand new one from NBB. There was not even a hint that this was in the works when I was at the brewery in September. I like the stuff. It's basically their take on a west coast IPA with their house yeast. Not bad at all for a first IPA attempt at that brewery. I'd give it a B+. I'll definitely drink it again.

I was surprised at how tasty this beer was. I'm really digging how brewers are starting to use chinook as flavor hops again.

I didn't care for it, and this is really they only 'mainstream' beer of theirs I don't like. Not enough citrus, too much pine. I like they fruity flavors to be apparent in my IPA's

Yeah. I LOVE chinook when it's handled well. People say columbus is pretty similar, but it's really not. It's a lot more similar to simcoe and hops like that. It's certainly possible to get the nice chinook flavor without all the roughness. Or to use the roughness instead of additional bitterness. I make an amber recipe that uses a lot of chinook that has about 10 fewer IBUs than when I use cleaner hops. That roughness asserts the bitterness enough that you can use it more sparingly.

I don't care for it. Not sure how to describe it but it seemed thin to me. Not a lot of depth, lots of hops but the hop character seemed one dimensional. I'd argue for some more mouth feel too.
However the label design is fantastic!
