You have to try this one. It is a full bodied, full of aromatics and full flavored beer. Huge on mouthfeel, but I just cant get over this aroma! Citrusy, fruity and piney/peppery all in one. wow. Great bittering balance. Full hop flavor up front with the bitter bite finish.
This is a top notch beer!!

One of the beer benefits of living in Sonoma County: Bear Republic.
Anyone who goes near Healdsburg (hwy 101 runs right through it north of Santa Rosa) should stop in for some decent pub food and fantastic beers, some of which are only available on site.
Of their bottled beers, I like Hop Rod the mostest.

Yep - this is one of my faves. I'm glad I can get it down here in the desert.

This was my first rye beer, years ago. Great stuff.
