Bought a sixer of Great Lakes (Cleveland, OH) Grassroots Ale this weekend on sale for 7.99 at consumers. It is a well made Saison for a brewery that doesn't brew Belgian styles (although they did have a witbier). This saision is spiced (very mellow) with lemon balm, chamomile, and lemon verbena, and something else I can't remember right now. At 6.2 percent it is a delicious beverage and emulates a traditional saison fairly well. It is not overly sweet like many American brewed Saisons can be and the spice/yeast is balanced leading to an intriguing citrus earth aroma. Definitely check it out!
